You'll see that the glowing sea is over in the direction, past a slight incline and a small forest. If you want to go even further with this, line your character's view with the general direction of the glowing sea, using your mini-map as an aid. You'll notice at this point that the arrow that symbolizes your character, with the arrow point symbolizing your character orientation and view, doesn't line up with where the bomb fell according to the location of the glowing sea.
